About UCHE

United Christian Home Educators (UCHE) exists to help churches to launch their own homeschool academy as a support to homeschooling families within the church body or as a community outreach program.

Founded in 2009, UCHE began as a kingdom-building initiative with the purpose of offering home-educated students a variety of creative, engaging classes supported by a biblical worldview.

Our goal is to partner with local churches to foster a love of learning and an appreciation for the arts in the context of church and culture, helping to equip the next generation of leaders to excel in the home, the church, and the marketplace.

Since each homeschool academy is a support system and not a school, classes can be taught by a variety of individuals, such as, university professors, pastors, exemplary college students, home-educating parents, specialists, and community leaders.

UCHE offers a broad range of classes including science, composition, art, theater, worship band, sports, foreign languages, sign language, history, research, cooking, PE, LEGO Engineering, critical thinking, piano, guitar, and many other rotating class options.

Classes are open to home-educated students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. Though charter students are welcome to attend our classes, UCHE does not accept charter school vouchers for classes.
